These are the plans to change up our primary bedroom. White walls will now be Sherwin Williams “Smokehouse,” a neutral brown to warm up the space. Our white slipcover for our bed will be replaced with a darker flax tone, and our early 2000s looking ceiling fan will get an upgrade as well to a beautiful and modern copper fixture.

Our plan is to paint the ceiling + trim to match so it will be an impactful and intentional change to the mood of the room. We will be adding a paneled treatment to our closet doors to update them as well. Our current rug is a beautiful vintage piece, which I would hate to part with — replacing it with a the Jake Arnold rug that I love will be a game time decision.
